SHOWCASE in Cultural Venues 

The Arts Centre is the flagship of the performing arts in Victoria, Australia and is the focal point of Melbourne's cultural precinct. The Arts Centre Trust commissioned PIVOD to provide a new Public Information system, with both audio paging and visual displays, integrated into the booking and management system, to manage and control these areas.

The system incorporates a complex multi-zone paging system, moving LED signage and plasma information screens, integrated into the Arts Centre booking and management system. The core of PIVOD’s solution is the SHOWCASE Platform which provides the media capture and digital encoding, storage, scheduling and output to audio and visual display devices, including the monitoring and control of these devices. This user interface is part of the administration console and is a control point for the monitoring and maintenance of all devices within the centre.
