Museum Victoria

Museum Victoria is the governing body for Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks, the Melbourne Planetarium, the Immigration Museum and the IMAX Theatre Melbourne, as well as being the custodian for the World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building. Within these different venues, world leading technologies and innovative programs combine to reach and engage a diverse audience.

PIVOD’s involvement began with the ‘Big Picture’ project, a multi-layered digital infrastructure designed to position Museum Victoria as a provider of world-class cultural venues engineered for the future.

Melbourne Museum, located in Carlton Gardens, utilises the latest interpretation methods and display technology to provide visitors with an interactive, informative and memorable museum experience. PIVOD’s SHOWCASE solution links each campus together with the Melbourne Museum as the control hub - this creates one central museum management resource across all Museum Victoria sites.
